This annual assessment is carried out by a small specialty-based panel (see the Gold Guide for details). It provides the trainee with an opportunity to provide comments on their training to date, as well as reviewing their progress/competences and identifying specific training needs.
Trainees will be provided with at least 6 weeks notification of their ARCP date and informed of the evidence required by the panel. Examples of evidence include:
- Workplace-based assessments
- Educational supervisors Structured Report
- Portfolio/Logbook
- Audit Reports
- Certificate of completion of the PMETB survey
